Here it is….. The PADI Open Water Diver course. This is the basic scuba diving course you are looking for – after completing this course you will be able to go diving rather than just watching people go diving!!!

It is possible that you have thought about learning to dive for a number of years or you may have just had a fantastic try dive whilst on holiday. Whatever your motivation this course is the one you are looking for.

After completing this course you will be qualified to dive at over 7,500 Scuba diving resorts in almost every country in the world. Every dive resort you visit will have their favourite dive sites where you will see things unique to that area.
So do you want to dive with turtles? Or would you prefer to see angelfish, colourful butterfly fish and even clownfish? What about colourful coral or large majestic rays?
Or does your interest lie in exploring sunken wrecks.

Whatever your interest and motivation all this is possible after completing the course.

The next question you may be asking is what experience or knowledge do I need to start the course. Well once again this is easy, as long as you are in good health and are comfortable in water (you don't need to be an Olympic swimmer) you should be OK. We will provide you with a simple medical questionnaire that will explain all of this.

So you are fit enough, healthy enough and interested enough… what's next?

Basically the course is split into four sections as follows:

• Home study, which involves reading a manual in your own time and completing a few knowledge reviews
• A classroom session, reviewing sections from the manual and watching a DVD that helps understand the theory, and shows the dive skills you will learn in the pool
• A Saturday and Sunday afternoon session in the pool where you start to learn your new skills. Followed by
• A Saturday and Sunday at the lake where you get to practice your new skills, whilst enjoying some real dives.

All of our staff are very experienced divers and instructors. We believe are staff are among the best in the industry. They are certainly the most patient and dedicated. They will help and support you throughout the course and as we have very small groups in the pool and lake, you will be well looked after
